The lemonade stand idea came to me a few months ago when I was trying to decide on a theme for the summer mini sessions. I loved the idea but the thought of building my own stand seemed close to impossible given the fact that I have never built anything before that didn't come in a box. With directions. And labeled parts & pieces.
But then I found a blog about how to build your own using old wooden pallets that seemed easy enough so I decided to give it a try! With the help of my husband, I had a lemonade stand in no time and it was actually a fun project for us to do together! AND best of all - it cost me next to nothing to make{except the $1.97 I paid for the yellow paint and a promise to make my husband his favorite chicken for dinner in the very near future, lol}!
Maybe building it myself left me more emotionally attached to this theme than the others I've done... but I am totally in love with it! It is my most favorite set of mini sessions that I've done thus far! From the bare feet of the children to the lemonade in mason jars (complete with a lemon slice & colorful straws)... It just had the perfect summer feel to it! We had a gorgeous day to work with and it's easy to see that I have THE CUTEST LITTLE CLIENTS EVER.
I am thrilled with the whole thing . . . and I hope you enjoy looking at the finished product as much as I do!
Love,
Angel
